Introducing KRP LLP’s newest partner, Cecily Huang

On the heels of long-time partner Marshall Egelnick’s retirement after a more than 40-year career with our firm, we’re thrilled to announce a dynamic new addition to our leadership team. Cecily Huang is now a member of the KRP LLP partnership group.

Huang has been a key member of the KRP team for more than five years, delivering audit, accounting and business advisory services to a diverse group of clients. In a career that spans more than 15 years, she has built considerable experience and expertise serving organizations in sectors that include real estate, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, professional services and a wide range of not-for-profits.

“Cecily has been an integral part of KRP’s success in recent years and we’re very pleased to welcome her to the partnership team,” Co-Managing Partner George Grignano said.

“Her ability and willingness to work with our clients to solve their most pressing business challenges has been a distinguishing feature of her tenure with our firm. We can’t wait to see what new ideas and energy she brings to the team as we look to enhance our service capabilities and client experience in the years ahead.”

Since joining KRP, Huang has managed some of the firm’s most complex audit and non-audit engagements, working with our tax group and assisting clients with various aspects of their business affairs—including personal and corporate tax planning, business management and corporate restructuring. She brings a strong technical background in IFRS and ASPE, and has been a leader in helping to mentor and develop our firm’s CPA students.

Huang graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master’s Degree in Management and Professional Accounting, and earned her CA designation in 2006.

“From her earliest days at KRP, it was clear that Cecily brought a unique dedication to service excellence and a real passion for her work,” explained Co-Managing Partner Armando Iannuzzi.

Huang joins an esteemed group of accounting professionals, past and present, who have served as KRP partners.

“I’m very excited to be joining this dynamic leadership group,” Huang said. “Our firm has been a leader in helping organizations achieve their business goals for nearly 50 years and I look forward to developing new ways to serve our clients and continue expanding that legacy of success.”

She continued: “Since the start of my career here at KRP, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some truly inspiring business leaders and some incredible people. We’re not only partners to our clients, but we’re very much a family within the firm. Our greatest asset is our people and our strong workplace culture—and I’m thrilled to have a greater role in helping to shape it.”
