Marshall Egelnick

Partner (Retired)

Marshall is a 40–year veteran and Partner at KRP with more than 45 years of experience as a Chartered Professional Accountant.

A consultant, patient problem-solver and, as he puts it, “occasional psychologist,” Marshall enjoys building the kind of relationship with clients that garners their trust and allows them to rely on his counsel for both personal and professional financial matters. Taking the time to understand client needs, all while ensuring they understand every fact about the management of their financial affairs, are hallmarks of Marshall’s commitment to service excellence.

Marshall’s technical background provides a unique perspective on client questions. He is familiar with a broad range of industries including manufacturing, contracting, not-for-profit organizations and professional services, and has extensive experience in tax compliance and planning, financial management, trust and estate planning and assurance.

Marshall is an accomplished speaker and presenter, and for several years has delivered seminars on topics ranging from tax to technology at the Russell Bedford International annual conference. He hones those impressive presentation skills as a proud baritone in the Toronto Northern Lights, a gold medal-winning a cappella barbershop chorus that competes internationally.

In addition to his CPA designation, Marshall holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a BSc from the University of Toronto, where he studied math and physics. In his spare time, he still cultivates an avid interest in nuclear and quantum physics.
